Terry and I bought a cute little log cabin in need of a few updates; our goal was to make it our last home. The home inspector recommended that the updates should include a new roof, insulation, and improvements to the kitchen and bathroom.

On the recommendation of a friend of a friend, we hired John Nesta (and Elite Custom Home Builders) to assist us with our project. It was our first time working with a contractor, and we were naïve. We had strong opinions, a little fear of the unknown, and – with retirement looming – a limited budget.

John acquired an understanding of our needs and our tastes by simply listening. He took our ideas and made them possible based on his experience, and his gained knowledge of the existing structure. Each time we saw him he had new ideas for us to consider to make it more efficient, environmentally-friendly, and cost-effective.

We watched our dream grow. Where we saw hurdles, John saw solutions. His subcontractors were fabulous too – and so nice! They worked diligently at their trades, and they seemed really invested in making this their finest effort.

No longer naïve, we now have far more than a cute little cabin. We are the proud owners of our absolute dream retirement home! Terry and I say every day that we have never felt more at home than we are here. And that's thanks largely to John Nesta and his crew!

I was one of the companies first customers. I had worked with one of the principals, John Nesta. Elite has always performed in a professional manner. I have found them to be competitively priced and always on time.

Elite Custom Home Builders have completed a variety of projects. They have built new homes, completely remodeled existing homes, built decks, sun rooms, etc. The biggest project that I had them to do was a 30 unit apartment conversion. They took an existing apartment complex and converted all of the units to condominiums. This project was completed sooner than projected and on budget. The entire cost was $575,000.

Elite Builders is the most professional construction company my husband and I have ever dealt with. They have done numerous projects within our home over the last 5 years. Some projects were minor and basic, such as painting or flooring, or simple repairs of ceiling fans and re-allignment of interior doors. More extensive projects include new construction of an exercise room with a 3rd car garage below, a finished "pool" room, and a finished basement including a full bathroom and custom-made shelves.

I previously owned a commercial property that consisted of two professional office spaces and five additional rental units. The building caught fire and became a total loss.
